Case Study Overview:
Homebase were importing a series of products in to the UK, from the Far East, but the packaging was proving to be excessively heavy, creating expensive (weight ratio) UK transport costs.
The Styro-Tech Solution:
Styro-Tech developed an efficient weight reduction (and carriage cost reduction) solution, where the inserts and fitting were stripped out and replaced (once in the UK) with a lighter weight polystyrene alternative, which also still maintained packaging effectiveness.
